Walking by faith and not by sight!

It's the 4th day of morning prayer! Thank God for the strength and motivation to wake up so early for the past 3 days. I was actually pretty de-motivated to go today because Kim is not going today and I had to go alone. However, because I've set in my heart to pray for my CG today, I forced myself to wake up and to focus on praying for everyone in my CG.

Was very glad to see BT in the lift and we sat together. We also chatted a while after the prayer meeting before going on our separate ways. I thought I would have my breakfast alone and leave immediately after eating. Instead, Jace was with Titus and Jacqueline and they had no seats, so they came to sit with me. I sat there listening to them and got back home 1 hour later than what I had planned. Anyway, now that I am home, I'm gonna share on what Pastor Tan had shared with us today, then nap a while before doing the last packing and then leave for the airport.

Yet another great Word from Pastor Tan... from John 20(Take note of the word "saw").

1 Now the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and SAW that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.

5 And he (John), stooping down and looking in, SAW the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in.

6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he SAW the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself.

12 And she (Mary) SAW two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

14 Now when she had said this, she turned around and SAW Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus.

25 The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”
So he said to them, “UNLESS I SEEin His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I WILL NOT BELIEVE.”
26 And AFTER EIGHT DAYSHis disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” 27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”
28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Jesus said to him, “Thomas,[d] because you have seen Me, you have believed. BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN AND YET HAVE BELIEVED.”

There's a whole lot of verses today. But all served to tell us that seeing with our natural eyes is not as powerful as seeing with revelation. The disciples all saw different things at different level according to what God has revealed to them. Like John only saw the linen cloths, whereas Peter saw the linen cloths and the handkerchief and Mary saw the angels and Jesus. Lastly, Thomas waited for 8 days before Jesus let him see Him because Thomas did not believe that Jesus had resurrected.

5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

If we walk and do things according to what we see, we will always be carnal. There will be many things which seemed "impossible" and limit our capacity. But what we see in our spiritual eyes will bring us through the so called "impossible". Therefore, we need to pray and see in the spiritual realm rather than be limited by what we can see in the natural realm. God will reveal Himself to us when we see with our spiritual eyes.

BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN AND YET HAVE BELIEVED
